Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
  • •Monitor and evaluate hourly production employees working in the production process.
  • •Inspect equipment and process system breakdowns, determine repairs needed, and write work orders; coordinate equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • •Monitor and develop frontline process employees’ routine inspection program and task training, and communicate job performance to employees.
  • •Revise and maintain the plant production report and coordinate shift handoffs regarding production status, problems, and adjustments to meet standards; coordinate with maintenance, shipping, and quarry, and supervise contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •High school degree or GED is required.
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in a production supervisor role.
  • •2 years of experience as a control room operator or process engineer in the cement industry is preferred.
  • •Use independent judgment and work from general policies and objectives.
  • •Proficient English written, verbal communication, and listening skills, including reading and understanding warning labels and instructions.
