Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order cost-effective equipment for manufacturing company products.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Stay current on equipment manufacturer technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability to support manufacturing uptime.
  • •Establish programs to increase uptime and resolve equipment issues; provide technical support and define preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
  • •3+ years of relevant semiconductor manufacturing experience as an Equipment Engineer with Axcelis HC3, Paradigm, and/or Purion Xe platforms.
  • •Prior experience with implant and high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum.
  • •Experience with tool monitoring and interdiction software, including equipment maintenance and documentation.
  • •Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, SPC techniques, and semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
