Key Responsibilities

  • •Solve customer issues by triaging and reproducing complex technical escalations, translating production data into reproducible test cases and delivering root-cause fixes
  • •Ship core product code by contributing to TypeScript/Node.js backend, refactoring legacy code, and ensuring fixes translate into permanent engineering solutions
  • •Scale and optimize production environment health, including PostgreSQL performance, locking strategies, and building internal tools for faster, safer shipping
  • •Be flexible by balancing high-impact customer needs, core development, and production health and quality
  • •Collaborate with customers to understand needs and adapt existing tech or develop new tech to meet those needs

Key Requirements

  • •5+ Years of engineering experience with a strong backend focus (TypeScript/Node.js)
  • •Forward Deployed mindset: comfortable solving burning customer issues, tracing bugs, and owning delivery
  • •Operational fluency in production environments, understanding Postgres internals, analyzing query plans, concurrency issues, and data access patterns
  • •Able to translate production data into reproducible test cases and collaborate with offshore teams
  • •Ability to meet with customers to understand needs and adapt or develop technologies accordingly
