Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design of building electrical systems and electrical distribution for facilities; manage project estimating, load sizing, and coordination studies.
•Prepare diagrams, sketches, construction drawings, cost estimates, bid documents and oversee construction administration for renovations, lab fit-ups, and equipment installations.
•Meet with internal customers to develop continuous improvement projects and manage projects from design through bid, construction, and closeout.
•Coordinate projects with IT, safety, security, internal trades, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
•Based in Andover, MA with support for a site in Portsmouth, RI and occasional involvement in NE region projects.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience
•5+ years building electrical engineering experience including high/medium/low voltage, primary/secondary power, multi-frequency power, grounding, load sizing, control systems, coordination studies, lighting and controls, lightning protection
•Construction project management experience including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, contractor coordination, commissioning, close-out
•Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project; experience with SKM short circuit and arc fault analysis
•Massachusetts Professional Engineering license/registration or eligibility within 6 months preferred
