Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate heavy equipment used in pit and mining operations.
  • •Report problems to your manager and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers.
  • •Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures.
  • •Follow foreman directions for daily tasks and site/project expectations.
  • •Perform minor servicing and maintenance, conduct daily pre- and post-inspections, and assist in training less-experienced employees.

Key Requirements

  • •At least three years of experience operating heavy equipment such as haul trucks, motor graders, bulldozers, excavators, or front-end loaders.
  • •Pass pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check, and complete a “Fit for Work” physical.
  • •Provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
  • •Willing to work nights and weekends, report at the designated start time, and work overtime when required.
  • •Adhere to OSHA/MSHA and company safety procedures, use required PPE, and be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
