Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform credit analysis tasks, including credit investigations and analysis of loan-related credit information.
  • •Break down balance sheet and income statement accounts, comparing current financial results to prior periods.
  • •Prepare reports summarizing borrower financial condition and capacity to repay, including loan request submissions for approving authorities.
  • •Value collateral as needed (review appraisals and assess collateral coverage) and assign risk ratings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics (or related) or equivalent experience, with preferred specialized financial analysis training.
  • •Minimum two (2) years related experience as an Associate Credit Analyst or equivalent experience in a financial institution.
  • •Thorough knowledge of commercial lending and loan review regulations, plus banking regulations, procedures, and operations.
  • •Advanced ability to analyze financial statement data and draw clear conclusions.
  • •Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling techniques, including discounted cash flow and projected cash flow forecasting.
