Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the on-site expert to assist the facility in compliance with Pilgrim’s Pride FSQ policies and plant procedures; work with the facility FSQA team to ensure HACCP and SSOP program adherence.
•Review HACCP and SSOP records for completeness and correctness to verify ongoing compliance.
•Be responsible for reassessments and changes to the SSOP and HACCP plans, perform HACCP validations, and conduct annual reviews of food safety programs.
•Coordinate prompt FSIS Non-Compliance responses and facilitate collaboration with plant management to support PPC’s Ownership Value.
•Provide monthly walk-throughs or assessments of the plant’s compliance to GMP requirements and communicate results at HACCP meetings.

Key Requirements

•Must have initiative and follow-through to ensure execution and documentation meet HACCP and SSOP guidelines.
•Experience with HACCP and SSOP programs and coordinating FSQA activities with plant personnel.
•Ability to reassess and implement changes to HACCP/SSOP plans, perform validations, and conduct annual reviews of food safety programs.
•Coordinate prompt responses for FSIS Non-Compliance records and support ownership value through timely communication with plant management.
•Complete monthly walk-throughs or assessments to ensure GMP compliance and facilitate communication of results at HACCP meetings.
