Job Summary

Own change control within a project/program area for a nationally significant Defence engagement in Adelaide. Lead program assurance activities by tracking, reporting, and analyzing variations and emerging trends, and coordinate integrated baseline management across the lifecycle. Help embed newly formed change processes within a Change Control Team, assess impact across cost, schedule, and risk, and coach/build internal capability through training and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage change control for the relevant project or program, including tracking, reporting, and analyzing variations and emerging trends.
•Embed and improve change processes and procedures within the newly established Change Control Team.
•Provide strategic insights to the client by identifying risks, opportunities, and impacts arising from change activity.
•Coordinate integrated baseline management exercises throughout the program lifecycle.
•Assess change/variation requests with impact assessments across cost, schedule, and risk, and support programme controls maturity improvements.

Key Requirements

•Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain (or currently hold) an Australian Baseline Security Clearance, or be a UK Citizen with current UK clearance.
•Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills across PMO and delivery teams.
•Comprehensive understanding of change control, cost planning, scheduling, and risk management principles.
•Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
•Familiarity with project control systems such as Contruent (formerly Prism) and/or professional qualifications including P30, Prince 2, MSP, APM PMQ, PPQ, CHPPM, or equivalent.
