Job Summary

Help drive customer engagements by applying software and systems engineering to design, build, and run large-scale distributed systems. Key Responsibilities

•Apply software engineering principles to the operations domain and ensure service reliability for critical internal and external services.
•Use software and systems engineering to design, build, and run distributed, fault-tolerant systems.
•Develop APIs using Red Hat technology products and services.
•Design, develop, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines, including issue analysis and performance troubleshooting.
•Participate in an on-call rotation (24x7x365) to provide production support, support presales/post-sales activities, and coach team members.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience with advanced middleware technologies and enterprise web/middleware development with application integration experience.
•Knowledge and experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
•Hands-on experience with Cloud as a development environment.
•Strong Java EE (JEE) and middleware experience, including designing and implementing JEE solutions.
•Experience building and operating Kafka pipelines, with CI/CD experience and familiarity with DevOps and microservices.
