Job Summary

Conduct exploratory cybersecurity research and experimental development to identify and exploit weaknesses in the design and implementation of complex systems and technologies. Work with the Operational Cyber Group to deconstruct technologies and protocols, prototype and simulate solutions, and deliver high-quality technical reports. Lead and mentor teammates, quickly adapt to new domains, and prioritize vulnerability research using a strong security mindset.

•Systematically deconstruct technologies and protocols to perform exploratory research and assessment, including experimental development with prototypes and simulations.
•Investigate systems and technologies focused on discovering and exploiting weaknesses in design or implementation.
•Work in teams to deliver high-quality reports while developing junior team members through mentorship and collaboration.
•Quickly assess new domains and technologies and determine suitable tools and methodologies for the task.
•Identify vulnerabilities and prioritize research avenues that deliver the most value to customers.

•Familiarity with tools and techniques such as IDEs, debuggers, source control, Ghidra, FRIDA, Wireshark, and VMs, including fuzzing and code injection.
•Intermediate to advanced understanding of computing principles (e.g., stack/heap and compiled vs. interpreted languages).
•Proficiency in at least one programming language with the ability to script or rapidly prototype.
•Ability to use and configure more than one major operating system and pick up new languages and technologies quickly.
•Experience leading technical tasks and communicating technical findings via presentations and technical reports.
