Job Summary

Own component requirement planning and MRP-based material plans using sales demand, inventory position, and production schedules to ensure materials are available before production starts. Manage production and non-production material planning, packing/assembly plan data, and timely work order execution and closure. Drive inventory control for component parts, identify shortages/excess/slow-moving items, coordinate supplier forecasts and delivery commitments, prepare daily injection reports, and support continuous improvement, 5S, and ISO/IATF compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform component requirement planning based on sales demand and current inventory stock to ensure materials are available before production starts.
•Plan and manage production and non-production materials using MRP, demand forecasts, and production schedules; provide packing and assembly plan data to Production.
•Issue and close work orders on time; prepare daily injection reports and communicate with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Warehouse, Purchasing, and SQA to align material supply with the production plan.
•Execute inventory management and control for component parts, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, targets, and inventory turn objectives; identify shortages, excess, and slow-moving items and drive corrective actions to minimize obsolete and at-risk inventory.
•Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers on component part forecasts, supplier performance reporting, and delivery commitments; align shipment plans with suppliers and warehouse teams while supporting initiatives to reduce premium freight and logistics cost.
