  • •Drive systems thinking, processes, and capabilities for core products including Altius, Anvil, Bolt, and Ghost.
  • •Collaborate with product leads and business lines to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities against milestones.
  • •Partner with functional engineering teams to architect safety, reliability, usability, modularity, upgradability, maintainability, and diagnosability across systems, subsystems, and interfaces.
  • •Define system and subsystem requirements, including risk reduction and verification & validation strategies for system-of-systems and subsystem assemblies.
  • •Execute system hazard analyses and coordinate system integration test events from in-lab software simulations to flight test.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, robotics) or related field.
  • •5+ years in defense or safety-critical industries, applying safety-critical standards with reliability and hazard analysis and requirements-driven V&V.
  • •Experience writing verifiable system-level, subsystem-level, and software/hardware/component-level requirements.
  • •Conduct safety & reliability analyses such as PHA, SHA, FME(C)As, or FTA.
  • •Proficiency with systems and Python, plus familiarity with modern software development practices, unit/integration testing, and release processes.
