Specialist, Medical Absence (6 month contract)

Serve as the first point of contact for managing medical absence cases, supporting employees throughout short- and long-term disability, medical leaves, and accommodations. Apply established policies to deliver thoughtful, consistent, people-centred guidance, coordinating with payroll, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate HR data in relevant systems, escalate complex situations to appropriate HR partners, and help improve medical absence processes, tools, and documentation.
