Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team delivering against strategic objectives for Talent Science, focused on product design and roadmap execution.
  • •Connect hiring outcomes to selection methods to ensure progression of exceptional talent.
  • •Design talent analytics processes and frameworks for efficient delivery of the team’s agenda.
  • •Coach and mentor team members to grow analytical capabilities, including developing training materials and documentation.
  • •Represent the team in the absence of the Head of Talent Science and advise leadership on Canonical’s talent vision.

Key Requirements

  • •Exceptional academic track record and an undergraduate degree in a people-based subject.
  • •7+ years of experience in a talent function, with deep knowledge of recruitment, selection, and analytics.
  • •Proven ability to analyze data using SQL (or Python, R, SPSS), with willingness to learn SQL.
  • •Experience exposing and using BI tools, including Superset.
  • •Ability to lead and drive others with strong project management, coaching, and English presentation skills for senior audiences.
