Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee complex new construction, renovation, and electrical infrastructure projects, including review and approval of electrical infrastructure design plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
  • •Provide high-level electrical engineering support across project phases (concept development, preliminary/final design, procurement, construction, and operation) using applicable techniques and processes.
  • •Perform and review electrical calculations (loads, equipment sizing, grounding, touch/step potentials, short-circuit study, protective device coordination, one-line diagrams, protective relaying).
  • •Lead MEP engineering work by preparing and overseeing budgets, tracking hours/expenses, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring satisfactory performance and completion.
  • •Develop/review plans, specifications, and cost estimates, coordinate electrical layout updates with owners and other disciplines, and produce technical reports and presentations while guiding project team members with QA/QC adherence.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience delivering design deliverables for capital projects (power generation, transmission, and distribution).
  • •Engineer license required.
  • •Proficiency with electrical design/build principles and infrastructure design, including permitting and project-related issues.
  • •Proficient with Revit and electrical engineering design software/tools; strong knowledge of codes, laws, regulations, and QA/QC record-keeping.
