Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize and validate HVAC equipment selection, including size, configuration, voltage, and options by reviewing plans/specifications and related project documents.
  • •Evaluate projects for cost savings and/or cost problems and plan EQ/VPP dollar breaks while validating scope, quantities, and configurations.
  • •Support sales by developing preliminary and final submittals, running hold job cost consensus meetings, releasing submittals, and making necessary updates.
  • •Negotiate with vendors to maintain competitive advantage, stay abreast of industry trends, and optimize expenses.
  • •Prepare equipment for order entry, verify and revise pricing/coordination worksheets, reconcile job costs, and provide technical support post-order through installation, startup, and warranty service.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology (or related) with 2+ years in the HVAC industry in project management or estimating roles, or 5+ years of HVAC experience in project management or estimating with an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or Temperature Controls.
  • •Flexibility to work outside normal work hours as required.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
  • •Ability to review plans/specifications, original estimates and proposals to validate equipment selection and quantities/configurations.
