Key Responsibilities

  • •Efficiently perform teller functions including processing deposits, withdrawals, posting to general ledger accounts, cashing negotiable items, and processing loan payments.
  • •Cashing checks and negotiable instruments, examining documents for endorsements/negotiability, and processing transfers between accounts.
  • •Verify, balance, and secure cash daily; detect and resolve discrepancies promptly, including meeting error/proof requirements.
  • •Operate online teller terminal and process services such as traveler’s checks, official checks, money orders, and credit card cash advances.
  • •Promote and cross-sell bank products, maintain privacy of customer information, complete required reports, and adhere to compliance and teller procedures consistently.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •At least one year of related experience/cash handling preferred; previous teller experience preferred.
  • •Good math skills and good typing skills.
  • •Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment, including coin and money counting machines.
