Job Summary

Perform preventative and light maintenance on semis and trailers, including troubleshooting, repair, and scheduling upkeep to minimize downtime. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, complete required documentation, and manage parts inventory and tool upkeep. Contribute to a strong safety culture by identifying hazards and following CHS policies and training. Monday–Friday daytime schedule with potential Saturday work based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain vehicles, machinery, and equipment to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
•Schedule and perform preventive maintenance in compliance with regulatory agencies and industry standards.
•Maintain record keeping and documentation as required.
•Follow CHS policies and procedures; participate in training for service and repair of vehicles and facilities.
•Report parts used for inventory, maintain tools, keep work areas clean, and support safety culture by identifying and addressing hazards.

Key Requirements

•1+ years of experience in truck mechanics.
•High school diploma or GED (preferred).
•Vocational/technical training in production maintenance/mechanics (preferred).
•Previous experience in industrial maintenance.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
