Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and execute system-level test cases for our next-generation management system, focusing on scale and performance in strenuous environments.
  • •Work with the development team to root-cause issues, often using automation tools and experiments to validate theories.
  • •Write detailed bug reports that characterize the system and describe the impact on customers.
  • •Collaborate with Technical Support to reproduce, debug, and resolve customer-reported issues.
  • •Foster a strong focus on intuitive GUI and API UX to deliver a pleasurable user experience.

Key Requirements

  • •A BS - CS/CE/EE plus 3+ years of experience or MS degree in telecommunications, computer networking, or related field
  • •Experience in designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting IP and Ethernet networks
  • •Experience in 3 or more of the following networking protocols and technologies (e.g. BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LACP, STP, IP Multicast, ECMP, Port-Mirroring, QoS, VXLAN, MPLS, EVPN, etc)
  • •Experience with Linux operating system and its popular technologies (e.g. KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Hbase)
  • •Some familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or TCL.
