Job Summary

Contribute to the integration and detailed design of the A220 High Lift system within the Aircraft Control team. Define system requirements and interfaces, perform validation/verification support, and run technical investigations and trade studies. Coordinate with Integrated Product Teams and suppliers to evaluate designs and support testing and certification activities. Work in Mirabel with collaboration from European Flight Control development teams in France and Germany.

•Participate in integration and development of the A220 High Lift flight control systems.
•Define and agree system interfaces with other aircraft systems.
•Define system and component-level requirements to meet program technical objectives.
•Conduct technical investigations, analyze, and develop solutions and trade studies.
•Support suppliers’ design evaluation and coordinate validation/verification, testing, and certification activities.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•University degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent (recognized university).
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
•Knowledge of specification, design, integration, test and certification of flight control systems and/or components.
•Experience with control system development processes including requirement decomposition per ARP4754.
•Knowledge of RTCA DO-160 and DO-178; familiarity with FAR 25 / CS 525 certification processes.
