Job Summary

Provide technical leadership and design authority for electric actuation systems and associated subsystems. Lead conceptual and detail design work across the product lifecycle—requirements capture, proposal development, manufacturing and qualification, integration, verification testing, production support, and in-service support. Review and approve design deliverables, ensure compliance with engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with customers and global teams to solve complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide design support, guidance, and leadership across the full design lifecycle for electric actuation and related subsystems.
•Lead generation of innovative design concepts and configurations for electro-mechanical actuation systems.
•Review and approve design engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with design processes, engineering standards, and programme requirements.
•Oversee creation of manufacturing data packages, engineering drawings, and tolerance analyses; support verification, qualification, and production support.
•Lead problem-solving and failure investigation/corrective action activities; mentor junior engineers, graduates, and students.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification.
•Demonstrated experience in a design engineering environment.
•Knowledge of machine design and electro-mechanical equipment product configurations.
•Experience leading the generation of innovative design concepts for mechanical or electro-mechanical systems throughout the product lifecycle.
•Proven problem-solving ability, including experience supporting failure investigations.
