Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the SLO/SLI framework for real-time services, defining, tracking, and improving latency, availability, jitter, and packet loss.
  • •Lead incident response for critical outages across the real-time platform and coordinate across time zones and engineering disciplines.
  • •Build and evolve observability tools including dashboards, alerting systems, and distributed tracing for real-time media infrastructure.
  • •Act as the architectural authority for deployment patterns, infrastructure design, and operational readiness; review and contribute to system design proposals.
  • •Drive reliability and DevOps best practices across teams (infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, automated testing, and deployment automation), and support CI/CD safety and progressive rollouts.

Salary: USD 98,900 - 228,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years at a staff or principal level scope.
  • •Own reliability for large-scale, distributed, latency-sensitive systems in production.
  • •Experience supporting real-time or media-heavy platforms such as video conferencing, live streaming, or similar systems.
  • •Conceptual and architectural understanding of real-time communication protocols including WebRTC, RTP/RTCP, TURN/STUN, SDP, and SFU/MCU topologies.
  • •Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform or Pulumi.
