Job Summary

Execute and manage the company’s power portfolio operations by coordinating with third-party market intelligence and service providers. Validate settlement and performance data, support negotiations, and produce daily/weekly/monthly trading reports including P&L, positions, and volumes. Perform post-trade analysis to improve strategy effectiveness and identify workflow inefficiencies, while monitoring policy updates, real-time market conditions, congestion signals, and balancing alerts. Handle trading-center declaration and market-access materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage day-to-day trading activities and communications with third-party market intelligence suppliers, power generation project operators, and power market service providers.
•Track and verify settlement data, invoices, and performance metrics for external trading partners; assist with negotiating commercial terms and service agreements.
•Collect, validate, and organize power market data (MLT and spot prices, load forecasts, generation schedules) and maintain records of trade confirmations and settlements.
•Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trading performance reports, including P&L summaries, position tracking, and volume analysis.
•Conduct post-trade analysis against market benchmarks, propose workflow process improvements, and support strategy back-testing and/or arbitrage execution.

Key Requirements

•1-3 years of experience in power trading, dispatch operations, or energy market analysis.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Power Engineering, Energy Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
•Foundational knowledge of China’s power market structure (Medium-to-Long Term, Spot, Capacity and Ancillary Services).
•Hands-on experience with at least one provincial or inter-provincial trading platform.
•Strong Excel skills with familiarity with Python or SQL; knowledge of AI-assisted coding and workflow management.
