Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently own LV electrical discipline delivery for packages, from concept design through construction documents.
  • •Provide technical input for LV systems including power distribution, switchgear and MCC design, lighting, earthing and bonding, UPS and emergency power, cable management, and energy metering.
  • •Act as Lead Verifier, confirming the technical approach satisfies client scope and expectations.
  • •Lead interdisciplinary design reviews and resolve conflicts between electrical, mechanical, structural, and other disciplines.
  • •Prepare LV technical specifications and construction cost estimates; perform quality control reviews of LV calculations, drawings, and specifications, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • •Minimum 10 years of LV electrical engineering design experience, leading discipline deliverables on complex projects.
  • •In-depth knowledge of LV power systems, including distribution architecture, protection coordination, load flow, short-circuit analysis, earthing systems, and emergency power.
  • •Proficiency with LV electrical design and analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, Simaris, DiaLUX or equivalent).
  • •Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (e.g., IEC 60364, NEC/NFPA 70, IEC 62305, and local grid connection requirements), plus ability to deliver high-quality outputs within schedule and budget.
