Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee assigned team day-to-day, identify strengths/weaknesses, and drive process improvements.
  • •Engage, coach, and performance-manage associates; provide clear expectations and performance feedback.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory and partner with the General Manager on repair vs. reject decisions based on estimated cost and vehicle quality.
  • •Train associates to use Quality Control standards to identify and complete repairs effectively the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • •Experience using computers
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas pertaining to Carvana’s reconditioning process

  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently and work extended standing in varying shop conditions
