Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate tack trucks and heavy equipment for road, site, and highway construction and paving projects.
  • •Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain required documentation, and ensure DOT and company compliance.
  • •Follow dispatch instructions, company policies, and applicable laws and safety regulations (OSHA/MSHA).
  • •Load and unload materials as needed, monitor vehicle performance, maintain mileage logs, and keep equipment clean and working properly.
  • •Communicate with the team, assist with training/mentoring, perform general labor duties as assigned, and support a safe, quality worksite.

Key Requirements

  • •Be at least 18 years old.
  • •Have a valid driver’s license meeting state requirements (CDL Class B with tanker endorsement required) and a clean driving record (MVR).
  • •Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical exam.
  • •Be willing to travel, work outdoors in all weather, and take night/weekend shifts when needed.
  • •Provide documentation to meet I-9 requirements; professional, courteous teamwork and safety mindset; high school diploma or GED preferred.
