Key Requirements

  • •AS/AA in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geospatial Science, Modeling and Simulation, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience/training).
  • •3+ years of related experience developing or modifying simulation terrain and database products (or related technical discipline).
  • •Experience developing, validating, and sustaining JLVC simulation databases and parametric data sets using JTDS or VISTA.
  • •Familiarity with U.S. military equipment, force structure, and strategy to ensure accurate representation in simulation databases.
  • •Knowledge of terrain generation/visualization and geospatial data formats/standards, including data conversion/validation between geospatial and simulation formats.
