Job Summary

Lead the corporate Accounting team and own the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and annual close, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and consolidation. Drive GAAP-compliant accounting policies and controls aligned to Sarbanes-Oxley, provide financial analysis for strategic planning, and oversee accounting/reporting systems. Partner with internal auditors and business leaders while reporting directly to the VP Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the corporate Accounting team and develop GAAP- and regulation-aligned accounting policies, practices, and procedures.
•Coordinate the preparation of standard monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation of the general ledger, including close checklists, calendars, journal entry review, and reconciliations.
•Oversee end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and ensure accounting records and analytics are audit quality.
•Develop and maintain accounting controls and standards, supporting statutory requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley.
•Lead implementation and maintenance of accounting and reporting systems and collaborate with internal auditors on effectiveness of internal controls and accounting processes.

Key Requirements

•Five years of progressive experience hiring and leading a diverse team in an Accounting department managing accounting transactions, systems, and financial reporting for senior leadership.
•Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases).
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Oracle (FloQast and Workiva Wdesk helpful).
•Ability to drive process and system enhancements and support quarterly audit, internal compliance, and controls including Sarbanes-Oxley.
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BS, MAcc, or MBA) or related field, or a combination of education/experience based on the stated qualifications.
