Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and execute the AI for Science API credit strategy with academic labs, small startups, and potential foundations.
  • •Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners via API credit applications and relationship building.
  • •Serve as primary relationship owner for AI for Science, coordinating with Applied AI, product, and GTM teams to deliver impact.
  • •Manage timelines, resources, and reporting for the program while translating partner needs into deployment plans.
  • •Work with partners and the ecosystem to create public goods (open-source tools, datasets, research) and represent Anthropic at scientific convenings.

Salary: USD 215,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in life sciences research with exposure to the intersection of new technologies accelerating progress.
  • •3+ years managing external partnerships, grantmaking, or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • •Deep relationships and credibility in life sciences domains (universities, research institutes, and relevant tools companies).
  • •Technical fluency to engage on AI concepts, understand LLM capabilities and limitations, and partner effectively with technical teams.
  • •Experience building communities of practice across multiple scientific domains using new technologies.
