Key Responsibilities

•Standardization & Consolidation: Establish clear standards and best practices for all new last creations and champion their adoption across internal teams and suppliers to optimize the last library.
•Last Creation & Internal Consulting: Lead hands-on creation of new lasts and serve as the primary technical consultant for Design, Development, and Innovation teams on last grading, selection, and fit optimization.
•Supplier Relationship Management: Build and manage collaborative relationships with external last suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality, precision, and timely delivery.
•Library Management: Own and maintain digital and physical last libraries, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for cross-functional teams.
•Sourcing & Production Support: Partner with Sourcing and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical last challenges and guide factory-level production processes.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of hands-on last engineering experience across high-performance running and fashion/lifestyle footwear; deep understanding of dynamic fit, foot anatomy, and biomechanics, balancing aesthetics with commercial fit standards.
•Proven experience managing comprehensive last development programs for a sports or performance footwear brand, including building, consolidating, and managing extensive digital and physical last libraries with multiple calendars.
•Practical ability to operate physical last manufacturing and digitizing equipment (3D scanners, milling machines) to create, reverse-engineer, and modify models.
•Advanced skills in 3D CAD software relevant to last design (e.g., Romans CAD, Rhino, or similar tools).
•Extensive knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes, tooling, and grading principles.
