Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform maintenance and repair on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer equipment and tools.
  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using real-time data from multiple equipment makes and models.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and follow OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred
  • •Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and complete a 10-panel drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
