Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, evaluate, and support strategic business partners and licensing opportunities that advance PST strategies in global health.
  • •Structure and co-lead agreement transactions for global health assets and technology platforms from early concept through development to commercialization.
  • •Conduct due diligence on potential partners and opportunities, including comparable transactions, agreement structures, funding needs, Target Product Profile (TPP), and market landscape.
  • •Negotiate agreement terms and manage transaction teams, ensuring internal alignment and presenting assumption-based recommendations to executive leadership.
  • •Develop business development capabilities and collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, Strategic Investment Fund, Product Launch Team, Alliance Management) to execute target agreements.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of biopharma industry experience executing complex agreements across multiple therapeutic areas and modalities with multinationals.
  • •10+ years of demonstrated experience with a minimum bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred, including MBA and/or PhD).
  • •Proven track record leading and negotiating technology-related transactions, including IP, data ownership, sharing, privacy, and liability terms.
  • •Ability to negotiate commitments and timelines with strong understanding of legal matters related to intellectual property and licensing contracts.
  • •Experience leading cross-functional business development diligence and agreement teams to completion across divisions and geographies.
