Job Summary

Develop, support, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions for Daimler Truck North America, working as an individual contributor and partnering with customers and teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions. Translate business processes into technical requirements, create functional/technical specifications, and estimate and size work. Collaborate in shifts as needed and ensure timely delivery while also managing an ABAP team for deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

•Work as an individual contributor for development, support, and deployment using SAP ABAP.
•Work closely with customers and partners to gather requirements and design solutions.
•Translate business processes and requirements into technical requirements.
•Create functional/technical specifications and design, and estimate and size work.
•Manage the ABAP team for timely deliverables.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of overall experience in SAP ABAP.
•Experience with SOA and Restful Webservices.
•Experience in Core ABAP including RICEF Objects, Data Dictionary, Module pool programming, RFC, BAPI, ALE IDOCs, and LSMW.
•Ability to act as an individual contributor for development/support/deployment using SAP ABAP.
•Flexible availability across different shifts, including possible weekend work for urgent business needs.
