Job Summary

Risk Manager in SEB Kort, based in Stockholm area (Solna). You’ll identify, assess and manage financial risks (credit risk, IFRS 9 reserves) using data and quantitative analysis, develop profitability models, refine underwriting frameworks, drive data infrastructure and monitoring, and collaborate across SEB Kort and SEB Group to support risk-based decision making.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify, assess and manage financial risks, with a primary focus on credit risk, capital usage and IFRS 9 reserves (ECL) using data and quantitative analysis as key tools.
•Contribute to the development, analysis and use of profitability models and other business models, supporting risk-adjusted decision-making, pricing, portfolio steering and capital efficiency.
•Develop and refine underwriting frameworks and credit decision processes in close collaboration with the business.
•Drive the development of data infrastructure, data quality and analytical capabilities to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal standards.
•Design and maintain monitoring and internal reporting of financial risk metrics to be reported to SEB Kort management and other relevant stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in credit risk within banking/financial services.
•Programming skills in SAS, Python and SQL.
•Relevant university degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or similar.
•Strong stakeholder management skills.
•Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
