Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership to one or more Business Unit Cells on the 3rd shift
  • •Apply CORE, Lean and other continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvements
  • •Lead a multi-skilled team engaged in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components
  • •Ensure employees are adequately trained and work in a safe and environmentally sound manner
  • •Set day-to-day operational objectives and execute basic management practices such as scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment OR Associate's degree and minimum 4 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment
  • •In lieu of a degree, 6 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment
  • •Experience in MS Office applications, specifically MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • •Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures
  • •Demonstrated skill and success in team leadership, facilitation & coaching skills
