Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead teams and develop solutions aligned to project needs and goals.
  • •Develop/assemble design teams and apply architectural techniques across project phases from concept through final design, procurement, construction, and operation.
  • •Perform complex architectural investigations and inspections of site conditions, buildings, facilities, and transportation-related operations to ensure conformance with rules, standards, and permits.
  • •Oversee larger-scale projects, including budgets, scheduling, monitoring external events, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors and staff.
  • •Review/approve permit applications, design plans and specifications, and conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with applicable state and/or federal regulations while coordinating with senior management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a focus in facility type experience.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience in the learned discipline.
  • •Professional licensure as a Registered Architect in NY.
  • •Highly proficient in architectural principles, practices, process, and design/build for project-related issues.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction laws, state and city building codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping; experience with inspections and investigations.
