Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end lifecycle for complex ML initiatives, from requirements gathering through release, delivering high-quality results across cross-functional workstreams.
  • •Architect and build the real-time AI/ML layer of the DFM AI + IQE partner integration, including low-latency serving and data contracts for model inputs/outputs.
  • •Develop cloud-based production systems for real-time endpoints and MLOps, integrating with Xometry infrastructure and ensuring mission-critical reliability.
  • •Implement MLOps governance, monitoring, alerting, and observability, including pipelines for automated retraining and redeployment.
  • •Mentor engineers via design/code reviews and technical guidance while staying current with advances in ML/AI and introducing relevant tools and frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •6-8 years of experience in machine learning engineering with a record of owning and delivering complex ML systems in production.
  • •Deep expertise in ML/AI including gradient boosting and deep learning and/or generative AI, with backend scalability and reusability in mind.
  • •Hands-on experience deploying real-time ML products at scale in cloud environments, with AWS strongly preferred (auto-scaling, monitoring, alerting).
  • •Strong Python skills and proficiency with advanced ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
  • •Experience with MLOps (model monitoring, drift detection, automated retraining/redeployment) plus CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions), test-driven development, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
