Job Summary

Cybersecurity Engineer Principal will manage and optimize enterprise identity and access management across Azure AD/Entra ID, on-prem AD, Okta, and M365. You’ll implement security controls (RBAC, MFA, SSO), drive compliance, automate with scripting, and collaborate with cloud architects to design secure, scalable Azure/m365 environments for government clients while maintaining Top Secret/SCI clearance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and maintain Azure AD/Entra ID, including hybrid identity configurations and integrations with on-premises Active Directory
•Configure and optimize Azure AD for secure access, identity governance, conditional access, and MFA
•Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) across cloud-based applications
•Monitor Azure AD health and resolve synchronization or performance issues
•Administer and optimize Azure infrastructure services, including VMs, networking, storage, and identity services
•Oversee on-premises Active Directory environments (domain controllers, group policies, forests, trusts, replication) and AD object lifecycle
•Administer Okta Identity Management, Okta Workflows, and Federation across systems
•Implement security/compliance features in M365 (DLP, IRM, Conditional Access) and provide user provisioning guidance
•Perform regular AD audits, high-availability AD architectures, and disaster recovery readiness
•Create and maintain documentation; train/mentor junior engineers
•Implement automation and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) to improve efficiency

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,813 - 172,500 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of related experience
•Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
•U.S. Citizenship required
•Bachelor’s degree (or 12+ years of related experience in lieu of degree)
•Cybersecurity engineering with a focus on Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), Azure, Okta Cloud Administration, and Microsoft 365 administration
