Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Site HSSE Manager and oversee project construction safety, security, health, and environment during construction and commissioning phases.
  • •Exercise judgment to extract relevant HSSE policies and procedures required for site construction works and ensure compliance with site regulations and permit to work procedures.
  • •Establish and maintain an effective HSSE system in accordance with legal and other requirements (ISO, Wood, and client).
  • •Ensure contractors and site personnel are qualified, competent, and instructed to comply with HSSE policy and client requirements, including permit to work systems.
  • •Develop PTW procedures/processes/forms, deliver training, and ensure PTW quality and effectiveness through regular PTW audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or certification as a Professional Safety Officer by the Ministry of Labour.
  • •Minimum 8 years of substantial HSSE experience in live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant, or similar facilities.
  • •Extensive skills applying worksite HSSE plans, work practices, and HSSE procedures/standards required for the site.
  • •Strong HSSE knowledge in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis, and permit to work systems.
  • •Good knowledge of Thai law and legislation related to HSSE, with fair to good English communication skills (verbal and written).
