Key Responsibilities

  • •Support maintenance of EPIL’s compliance universe and assess/implement upstream regulatory developments.
  • •Support second-line defence compliance policies across payment services, AML/CFT, fitness and probity, consumer protection, and conduct of business.
  • •Execute a risk-based compliance monitoring plan and support periodic AML risk and control assessments with data/trend analysis.
  • •Submit regulatory returns (including REQ) and ensure suspicious transactions are reported to An Garda Siochana and the Irish Revenue Commissioners.
  • •Support data protection oversight, including assisting the EU DPO and reporting on data protection metrics and RoPA to boards on a quarterly basis.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in a compliance or regulatory function within a regulated financial services entity, FinTech, or payments institution.
  • •Experience working in compliance within a regulated financial services/FinTech environment or in consulting.
  • •Strong technical expertise in AML/CFT compliance and/or data protection, with familiarity in both.
  • •Practical experience with AI tools in a compliance context and ability to adapt compliance practices to the business operating model.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English and ability to collaborate across cross-functional (cross-border) teams.
