Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide holistic, evidence-based care to women during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal phases, including all three stages of labour.
  • •Manage maternity and neonatal emergencies such as PPH, APH, shoulder dystocia, and induction of labour.
  • •Care for high-risk women under the direction of a senior midwife, both antepartum and intrapartum.
  • •Manage patients with epidurals and caesarean section cases.
  • •Perform cannulation, phlebotomy, urethral catheterisation, CTG monitoring and interpretation; examine and monitor patients, prepare care plans, and support parents with newborn daily care.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a UAE Medical Health Authority (DHA) license.
  • •Have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (or Degree in Nursing) and be registered as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia.
  • •Have at least 2 years of hospital (or similar) experience.
  • •Be proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and manage digital documentation and communication.
  • •Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and stakeholders.
