Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct all classroom instruction; deliver the approved TSA training and safety brief; ensure students understand and sign the safety briefing.
  • •Verify weapons and credentials of FFDOs before training commences by visual inspection.
  • •Maintain a minimum instructor/student ratio of 1:6 for each training session and ensure inventory of training supplies is available.
  • •Ensure proper scoring of targets and completion of administrative forms; collect training data; sign and certify qualification scores for FFDOs.
  • •Maintain security of SSI and SPII information and ensure compliance with TSA information security policies.
