Key Responsibilities

  • •Communicate with stakeholders to resolve project delivery issues and drive outcomes.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ITID, vendors, business users, and stakeholders) to handle production queries/incidents and deliver long-term solutions.
  • •Present, develop, and apply program fixes on application defects according to HSBC change management standards.
  • •Design reusable, maintainable solutions, including breaking down system functions into multiple-tier API layers and microservices.
  • •Provide AI-enabled feature support and apply AI SDLC end-to-end (data readiness through monitoring and continuous improvement), including off-hours incident on-call support as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of IT software development experience with Java 8+ and strong Spring, RESTful services, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture experience.
  • •Deliver and support enterprise-grade technical solutions, preferably within a financial institution.
  • •Strong understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis or equivalent).
  • •Containerization experience using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • •Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML or LLM-powered applications in production, including AI SDLC concepts such as data preparation, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining cycles.
