Job Summary

Lead systems performance engineering execution for the Excalibur Ic program within Raytheon’s integrated product team. You’ll guide a multi-disciplined team upgrading and merging Excalibur products, develop solutions to GNC and simulation performance needs, and drive plans from requirements through test and qualification. Manage schedule and budget rigorously, collaborate on EVMS/EAC reporting, and provide technical direction and reviews across simulation models and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive execution of work scope per the program schedule by setting team objectives and priorities.
•Communicate program status, accomplishments, issues, and needed support to program and business unit leadership.
•Manage team budget and schedule to meet cost goals and technical rigor while aligning to program risk posture.
•Collaborate with the business manager on EVMS (EACs) and report business metrics to program and functional leadership.
•Lead engineering execution for GNC and simulation product development, providing technical direction and reviews for simulation models, GNC updates, and performance evaluation.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
•Experience managing a System Performance (GNC/Signal Processing) engineering team.
•Experience managing cost, schedule, and execution for technical projects.
•Experience with GNC and signal processing algorithm development, including utilization of Missile Kit software.
•Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
