Key Responsibilities

  • •Preventively maintain, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and alter defective equipment.
  • •Provide maintenance on complex production equipment and perform maintenance checks on buildings and equipment.
  • •Control inventory and requisition appropriate parts for repairs and maintenance.
  • •Maintain electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; perform general equipment repair and installation of safety equipment when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 months of experience or 6 months of formal training in at least two mechanical areas (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting, PLC controls, three-phase wiring, plumbing, or conveyor maintenance).
  • •Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and independently take corrective action to prevent component failures or downtime.
  • •Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • •Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements (frequently lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • •Follow safe work practices including lockout-tag out, PPE use, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, and reporting food safety/quality issues to management.
