Job Summary

Senior Network Engineer responsible for configuring Cisco network hardware, maintaining information assurance compliance, and ensuring security and performance of classified networks at a Raytheon/RTX El Segundo facility. You will monitor infrastructure, implement RMF/NIST/DISA STIG controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DoD mission networks onsite.

Key Responsibilities

•Configure, manage, and upgrade Cisco network hardware and software (switches, routers, ASAs, Next Generation IPS)
•Ensure Information Assurance compliance for network hardware and software and mitigating identified vulnerabilities (IAVMs, DISA STIGS)
•Ensure compliance with security and performance requirements (NISPOM, RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST)
•Maintain high reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management
•Collaborate with inter-organizational contacts within Digital Technology to support classified networks

Salary: USD 118,300 - 224,900 annually

Key Requirements

•Active Top Secret security clearance (US DoD) and U.S. citizenship
•Experience with LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches and other network hardware
•Configured, managed, and upgraded Cisco network hardware and software
•Knowledge of security/compliance requirements (NISPOM, RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST) and Information Assurance practices
•Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE, L2TP, DMVPN) and firewall/ACL concepts
