Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and evolve the product compliance control framework, moving assessments from global baselines to bespoke, market-specific frameworks.
  • •Execute rigorous testing of financial crime methodology and rules, and design new controls where required.
  • •Lead deep-dive retrospectives on existing live products and partnerships, and set up compliant foundations for new products prior to launch.
  • •Assess how global financial crime controls land in APAC, embedding local nuances, partner expectations, and regional regulations into the core framework.
  • •Identify and remediate gaps across retail and product solutions using risk-based prioritisation and timely issue management.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 6 years of experience in regulatory assurance or financial crime compliance within a financial technology company.
  • •Ability to analyse and interpret complex regulatory frameworks and apply them effectively.
  • •Use regulation together with data to drive business decisions.
  • •Natural owner who proactively drives and delivers projects to completion with attention to detail.
