Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce UI product/system requirement specifications from end-user input and operational analysis for functional engineering teams.
  • •Develop product/system design concepts and implementation specifications with a focus on usability.
  • •Create, evaluate, and modify prototypes, operational scenarios, and process maps emphasizing operational context and task analysis.
  • •Contribute to software architecture, detailed design, and software integration activities across complex distributed systems.
  • •Ensure software quality via disciplined development and verification, including automated unit tests, and participation in code/peer reviews and testing support.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Software Engineering.
  • •Minimum 8 years of software development experience, preferably in communications, defence, mission-critical, or distributed systems.
  • •Strong proficiency in Java development.
  • •Experience with Human Factors/Human Systems Integration requirements and task analyses (e.g., Mission Task Analysis, Top-Down Functional Analysis, Critical Task Analysis).
  • •Experience with GIS frameworks (e.g., LuciadLightspeed, NASA World Wind) and Web UI fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
