Key Responsibilities

  • •Make complex fixes and implement significant enhancements in Air Traffic Control Product Line software with guidance from Subject Matter Experts.
  • •Update software process documentation and work instructions to meet ATS SED software engineering standards and processes.
  • •Participate in agile processes including standups, sprint planning, feature development, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
  • •Collaborate with the software team, leadership, and other engineering domain teams, program management, and external stakeholders through frequent multi-level communication.
  • •Learn and apply new COTS tools, processes, and methodologies across the software development life-cycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in STEM areas of Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • •Experience in a Unix/Linux development environment and command line usage.

  • •Preferred: Agile methodologies and Git, plus scripting skills in Bash and Python.
