Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer equipment and tools.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using data from makes/models.
  • •Maintain safe job practices and keep service paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed complete and timely.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, and when required, travel to customer job sites for repairs/maintenance.
  • •Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed and maintain the service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
